If you’re the type of person who gets anxious or nervous about going to the dentist, you will feel very comfortable at our office. We take our time with a gentle approach and talk you through all procedures. If you still feel nervous, and can't seem to relax, or have a heavy gag reflex or other phobias you might be a good candidate for nitrous oxide analgesia or a combination of oral sedation and analgesia. However, IV Sedation or general anesthesia carries risks. Therefore at our office we prefer to use Nitrous Oxide that is very safe to inhale at any age, and adults are capable of driving home afterwards. If you would prefer to take medication, we are able to prescribe you anti anxiety medication as well. You would just need to be in good health and have someone to drive you home.
